Code of Ethics & Code of Conduct Policy

Working together to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment

All Communication Matters – Our Shared Code of Conduct

At All Communication Matters, we are committed to providing safe, high-quality, and effective speech pathology services. We follow the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and the codes of conduct relevant to the environments we work in, including schools, preschools, and other community settings. We take our responsibilities seriously, ensuring every session is professional, supportive, and tailored to your needs.

We also rely on our clients and families to help us maintain a positive and productive environment. Together, we can create a space that is safe, respectful, and effective for everyone.

To help us work together, we ask that clients and families:

  • Be Respectful & Courteous: Treat our team and other clients with kindness and consideration, in person, over the phone, or online. We will always do the same for you.
  • Provide Accurate Information: Share relevant details about your communication needs, health, and goals so we can provide the most effective care tailored to you.
  • Honour Your Commitments: Attend sessions as scheduled whenever possible and let us know in advance if you need to reschedule. Together, we agree on your intervention plans and goals, and your participation and commitment help us deliver consistent, effective care while respecting everyone’s time.
  • Respect Privacy: Maintain confidentiality regarding other clients, as we will respect yours.
  • Communicate Openly: Ask questions, provide feedback, and let us know if something is unclear so we can work together to get the best outcomes.

We are committed to listening with an open mind and providing a safe and supportive environment. Threatening, violent, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. If this occurs, we may need to pause or end the session, and the full session fee will still apply.

By attending sessions at All Communication Matters, clients and families agree to work with us to create a respectful, safe, and collaborative environment – together, we can achieve the best outcomes for everyone.
