Initial Enquiries & New Clients
Whether you’re looking for ongoing support or just need a fresh start, our team is here to make your experience comfortable, personalised, and stress-free.
To get started, you can send us an enquiry via our BOOK NOW page – that’s usually the quickest way to get in touch. If you’d prefer to chat first, you’re also welcome to call us on (02) 9482 8099. No GP referral is needed.
When you contact us, a brief note about your concerns and your availability for regular appointments really helps us match you with the most suitable times.
We’re keen to get you started as soon as we can. Sometimes appointments are available within a few weeks, and at other times there may be a short waitlist – either way, we’ll work with you to find the best option.
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you take the first step.
intake process
Step One : Intake Offer & Form
When an appointment becomes available, our intake team will make contact with you promptly. You’ll receive a text alert letting you know an appointment is available and an email containing a link to an online intake form. This form is designed to gather the background information needed to proceed with the intake process. It helps us determine what assessment is necessary and facilitates finding the most suitable match with an available speech pathologist. Your prompt completion of the form is crucial to ensure smooth progress for booking an appointment.
Step Two : Intake Phone Call
Step Three : Service Agreement & Appointment Confirmation
Once the call concludes and your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive an email confirmation containing details of your initial appointment time and associated costs. It will also include links to some forms including our service agreement, Stripe payments set up (where applicable) and consent forms. We kindly request that you promptly return the forms, and any other relevant reports to ensure that your appointment proceeds smoothly as planned.
Intake and Assessment Service Planning Fee
Booking clients for an initial appointment involves several time-intensive steps, including
- Reviewing intake information and reports provided by clients
- Planning a tailored assessment, first therapy appointment or meeting
- Liaising with clients regarding services and policies including an intake phone call and personalised confirmation
- Reserving the agreed-upon appointment slot
Because of the time and care involved in this process, we charge an Intake and Assessment Service Planning Fee, which is collected during the intake phone call with your clinician. This fee reflects the preparation work completed on your behalf before your first appointment takes place.
Once an initial appointment is made, should it be necessary to cancel altogether, please be aware that the Intake and Assessment Service Planning Fee will not be refunded.
