GROUPS

Social Detectives

Our Social Detectives are small groups of 2-4 children. These groups are for preschool or school age children who benefit from a smaller group environment allowing more direct support from the clinician. The groups are offered by invitation to clients as a stepping stone to larger groups. Social Detectives groups and pairings target social and pragmatic skills through a variety of approaches, including  Social Thinking® methodology, Zones of Regulation and authentic, practical collaboration with a fun interactive focus, including role play, modelling, games, and activities.

Areas covered include:

  • Whole Body Listening
  • Turn-Taking
  • Thoughts and Emotions
